NYE + 3 day old (Vent)

I have never been a fan of NYE. To me it is just another day of the week. So last night I fed LO about 11 then headed off to bed. I didn't mind the fireworks and stuff outside because LO didn't seem to be affected by then. However, I did mind when my obviously inebriated sister called me at 12:30 am (with a stupid question, too....no one died or anything). I ignored the first call and then she called again. I mean, who does that!!?? LO is 3 days old and she has been over and I told her how hard everything has been and how none of us are getting any sleep. I just don't get it. Sorry, had to vent.

    First of all, I hate when people call me in the middle of the night...it's never anything good.  I've told my mom that if someone does die, please don't call me until the morning.  There's nothing I can do in the middle of the night anyway and it would just upset me and keep me awake.  Secondly, you have a NB, that's incredibly rude of her to call you in the middle of the night.  I think I would kill someone if they did this to me!

    We had a relative of DH's call last night at 3 am.. THREE TIMES! He's an alcoholic and doesnt remember that DH has told him not to phone that late because DS will wake up and not to mention we're going to have a new baby soon. If he tried calling again tonight he will be getting and earfull from me, and I've never even met the man! GRR that drives me nuts!
