Seriously BUMP stop it!

How do I get the bump to quit displaying how "far along I am" on the initial page (top right on thebump.com homepage). I already deleted my due date, unchecked pregnant, etc. Everytime I open this page it tells how far along I am and what i should be doing. F* you bump. Quit posting that. I want that stupid ticker gone and I want it gone NOW. I don't need to be reminded of new milestones I'm not reaching.

HELP!

I'm having this same problem. I am so trying to be healthy about this but there is no one I am comforatable talking to..my parents have made this all about them and my husband freaks out when I cry. So I come on here, and the bump reminds me that I should be pregnant. I hope someone knows how to make this disappear.

about 8 posts down another woman posted how to get rid of all of those things it is a bit tricky since the new layout. i hope you have sucess in deleting these reminders. i know how horrible they can be. I also was subscribed to things on FB and through e-mail that i had to go throug and un-subscribe to.

I already fixed my tickers and emails through the way she decribed below. This does not stop the introductory thing on the first page though. It's not a ticker, but it shows me all the info i don't want to see.

That bump of the week comment really pisses me off today. She has a kind disposition and know she will be a great mom. Shoot....so do I! It just didn't work out. Indifferent

Having the same issue here! I was able to remove everything except this. Today I logged in and it was "you are 14 weeks pregnant"...no, I'm not, Bump, and thanks for the reminder. Hopefully someone knows how to fix this???

I know it sounds harsh, but have you 'deleted' the child from your profile?

Click on your avatar.

Click on "Edit My Profile."

Click on "Our Family."

On that page, delete the child.

So sorry about that. I hope this helps!

I had to go in and change my profile from Are You Pregnant NO Are You: TTC then I had to enter a ? ? 2005 for the birth date/due date to make it go back to "TTC" on the main page. GL it almost took me over the edge until I figured it out!

Ugh! I tried the delete-your-unborn-child route suggested in the previous post and it did the trick. I would suggest that The Bump find a simpler more appropriate way for us to indicate that we are no longer pregnant given that we have suffered great losses. That was a horrible feeling!

Thank you very much for the suggestion. Its a relief not to see how far along I should be...

I had to go through the Nest to do it. Follow her directions but through the Nest website over the Bump. They haven't remodeled the Nest yet, it's still like the old Bump. I hope you get it to work that way. It is a horrible reminder every time you log on. I agree that they should make it easier for all of us who have suffered losses.

I just emailed a link to this thread to nest annie and nest eileen. They need to be aware what is going on and how the USERS of their site are having to deal with this. Sadly, miscarriages happen all the time - it is CRAZY that it should be so difficult to undo a pregnancy once you create a due date. I also asked them to create a permanent post/link on this board with instructions on how to delete your pregnancy/due date (ideally in as few steps as possible).

This FINALLY worked for me - thanks. They need to make this so much easier b/c going through and deleting everything is just horrible

I personally think the entire site is very difficult to navigate and not user friendly at ALL! I spend much more time on other support boards rather than the Bump lately. Sad 'cuz all the ladies here are so nice

It's just such a hassle!
