Since we had a discussion yesterday about names that are out, what about the names you're considering? I find this fun, especially because we don't know what we're having yet.
One request - I'd like to know last names if you're comfortable so we can see how the names sound in total.
Last name: Sechler
Boy picks: Remi, Tomas, Oliver, Kristof (maybe I can find a more "normal" spelling for that because this is the only one I found in the baby book.)
Girl picks: Adele, Eleanor (I love Ellie), Sunny, Lucy
The DH hasn't taken a lot of interest in girls names. He says we're on the "china policy". lol. But I've got a couple.
Re: Top Names
We have definitely decided on a boys name... Cooper Anthony.
Girls is still up in the air, but we are defiitely leaning towards Hanna Marie
We have Tegan and Taryn picked for girls names (though i've been in love with Tegan for about 2.5 years now) so it will probably be Tegan Mischelle (weird spelling is after MIL)
And for a boy I like Landon. I had mentioned liking Talon at one point to DH and he really likes it but i'm really nervous of how it will be received, and as a result, i'm getting turned off by it. My vote is for Landon John (After FIL)
The middle names are set in stone, but we are still brainstorming and coming up with ideas.
Oh, and DD's name is Sade (rhymes with Jade)
We only have a few we agree on for now but have put the process on hold until we find out the sex. No reason to stress over girl names if we're having a boy or vice versa.
Girl: Eleanor (Ella or Ellie) and Emily
Boy: Matthew or Thomas Harrison (after my grandfather and his grandfather). The problem with Thomas Harrison is our last name starts with C so his initials would be THC which is apparently the compound in weed that makes you high. I didn't know this but my former pothead husband does. I don't think it's a big deal but it might be a deal breaker for him. Hence going on a name hiatus until we know the sex!
LOVE this! This kid would be a badass
Girls: Hannah Kathryn or Olivia Kathryn (MN is my grandmothers name)
Boys: Gabrielle (Gabe) Kent (my choice) or Sawyer (DH choice)Kent (MN is DH grandparents last name... they raised him so we thought it would be nice for our son to share their name too)
The boys names are our favorite so far but it is still under discussion.
its twins and last name is heffron
Girls: Aspen
Amelia
Boys: Cooper
Cannon Or Cage (husband cant decided)
Girl/Boy: Lacey
Landon
middle names are still in process DH wants the middle names after his parents but i dont want that all. its not fair to my parents

Congrats to my buddy Ambs21! Welcome to the world Audrey!
Congrats to my buddy Mork! Welcome sweet E!
I have a cousin named Talon. It actually fits him quite well and is a fun name.
Our top names are: Clarissa for a girl, but MiKaela and Kiera are also on our list. Emmett Bradley for a boy. We have a hard time agreeing on boy names, so that's our entire list so far. LOL
We have no middle names yet, but here are the first and last names.
Benjamin Vera
Sophia Vera
It has been super super hard to find names that both of us agree on, so these are the 2 names we both like!
Boy (first): Lucas, Brian
Boy (middle): James, John
Girl (first): Allison, Jocelyn
Girl (middle): Mae, Mary
BFP 12/10/10 - DD1 8/16/11
BFP 10/29/13 - c/p 11/2/13
BFP 11/29/13 - DD2 7/18/14
BFP 3/20/18 - DS1 due 12/2/18
Our first son will be Charles David (Charlie) - after DH's grandfather who raised him (Charles) and my daddy. I think we had that picked out before we even got engaged!
Girls names... we've thrown a few around. I like Alison Thayer (both are old family last names), or Catherine Anne, after my mom and sister, but we would call her Cate or Catie - it HAS to be Catherine with a C, and we would definitely go with nicknames, but I'm still up in the air if I would want to inflict weird spelling on my child...
Last name sounds like Logan, but isn't
Girls names: Elena, Aurelia, Mirela, Mireille, Analiese, Natalia, Anca, Corina, Ileana, Mariela. MN will most probably be Elizabeth, Elisabeta or Evangeline
Boy names: Nicolae, Andrei, Alexei, Alexandru, Micah, Mihail, Julian, Eli, Nathan, Mathias. DH's GF was Tiberius, so that may end up as a MN. I think its ok if its a family name but wouldn't have come up with it on my own.
Oh, and DH hasn't signed off on any of these names except Elena, since that is his GM who raised him for a long time. And um, can you tell he's Eastern European?
So far we like:
Elizabeth Ellis
Caroline (Carly) Ellis
Paige Ellis
and
Bradley Ellis
Benjamin (Benji) Ellis
Ethan Ellis
I've already taken to calling the little thing Charlie.
If it's a boy we are naming it Anthony Charles since my DH wanted it to be named after him so I went with giving him the same first name and middle initial. It's actually really common in my family for the boys to go by their middle name.
If it's a girl I'm set on Charlotte Olivia and we'll call her Charlie. I just love the name Charlie!
Last name: Cook
We haven't really thought about girl names... I guess we're really hoping it's a boy so we can be done.
Possible boy names: Graham, Myles, Benton, Emmitt, Rudy (family name... not sure about that one yet though)
last name Simpson
girl: Lila Katherine Simpson (thought it would be cute if we called her Lila K. because family calls me Amy J .Or Lila Mae (my great-grandmother was Lily Mae) We also like Sadie, but does Sadie Simpson sound stupid?
boy: Liam David or Rowan Andrew
I really like the name Lucy too! But I'm afraid she would get made fun of...
Last name is an Indian name beginning with a G and having lots of As and Ls
Boy: Alexander Jacob (Jacob rhymes with my first 2 boys names)
Girl: Evelyn Rachel nn Ellie or Evie (after my grandmothers)
We are already calling it Alex, it will be a shock if it's a girl!!
Boy: Sorin Andrew Rosenberg, means: woodland warrior
This first kid is a fighter. Coralie Lulette is a compromise name. My husband wanted a Lilu, so I gave him Coralie Lulette. Lielu will be her nickname. Sorin is a character in my favorite childhood book Dragon Prince; he was sweet, brotherly, and brave. Andrew is my husband's best friend's name. They've known each other since they were 10 and are still very close. We love these names!
So you pronounce Coralie as Coralee or Cora Lye? I love it either way.
Be careful with this spelling. It is widely used as the feminine Gabri-ELLE. For a boy, you might want to stick with Gabriel, so people won't mispronounce or assume he is a girl!
Our Family Blog.
Cora-lee. Thanks for the love! I'm worried about mispronunciation, but my name is Kristen, and people still say Kirsten or Kursten or Kristin or Kristine when really there is only one way to say Kristen.
Last name: Coates
Boy: Jacob Ryan (I've wanted a Jake since before I even knew DH and he knows this is non-negotiable). We've even been calling the blueberry "baby jake." DH says that by calling it a boy then it will be. (I tried to explain that's not how it works but he's stubborn)
Girl: I really like Eloise and call her Ella, hubs likes McKenzie. Still debating. I also like Adaline (ada-leen) or Adalia (means noble)
I love this idea- I may steal it! I love both Caroline and Carly. However, I could never think of a nickname for Caroline and Carly just doesn't seem formal enough to me to be a full name. Problem solved
Last name: Pennington
Girl: Brooklyn Elsie - we both agreed on the spot. Elsie is a family name.
Boy:
My picks- Griffin, Peyton, Justin Gregory II.
His pick- Bretton (I CAN'T stand it!) Can you guess where he got the name?? Wallstreet II - The movie.. ya, Bretton after the bad guy in the movie. Also, all I can think about is Breton crackers.. and I don't want my son named after a cracker. Needless to say I am not sold.
Charlie was my top pick too, but it's a close friend's child's name. She's a one and done, so I definitely don't want to filch it.
I nearly died laughing. There should be a wives of former potheads support group.
Our Last name is Diehl:
Girl- Chanley Grace
Boy- Cohen Brandon(Brandon is my DH name)
I love this idea! Charlie for a girl is precious...
Alissa, Charlotte, Megan, Heidi, Sera, or Molly. MN Lauren (family name)
Nolan, Reagan, Logan, Loren (family name), Collin, & Sawyer. MN James (DH & FIL's name)
We seem to have a thing for n names for boys! I like all of them, but I'm not 100% sold on any of them
Our last name starts with B.....son. We're leaning towards Anna Grace for a girl and Andrew James for a boy,
BFP 12/10/10 - DD1 8/16/11

BFP 11/29/13 - DD2 7/18/14
