how much longer!!!????

im 40 weeks and 4 days today! went to the doctor and had an exam this morning and im one centimeter, 60% effaced and -3 station! according to the doctors and the monitors my baby girl is doing great! but im not registering any contractions. I have low back pain and sharp shooting pains down my legs and into my va jay jay at times but nothing thats consistent.....im walking walking walking and even getting busy with my hubbie whenever we can in hopes of getting labor started.

is anyone else here past their due date!? i really dont want to be induced....i dont like messing with mother nature and have heard that alot of inductions end in c-sections which I really do not want.....Im starting to get really nervous. Could it be that my baby girl is just too "comfortable" and doesnt want to come out?

Im not quite 40 weeks yet but I thought for sure this one would come sooner as its my second but that doesnt seem to be the case! Been 1 cm for 4 weeks and no progress since then! So annoying!

If you do end up with an induction - there are quite a lot that are successful vaginal deliveries too. Myself included. Sending you lots of labor dust though!!!!!

thank you! thats good to know..... ive been trying to read up on inducing and how its done etc.... so i can at least be educated on it if its the route we have to take. we just our baby girl to be healthy so any way she gets here is fine..i was just hoping to go into labor naturally
