Pressure in crotch

Some days it seems I feel a lot of pressure in my crotch area other days not so much. Anyone else have this? I don't remember it with dd.

Re: Pressure in crotch

  • Yes - mine is like a sharp, but dull pain, if that makes any sense.  I've been told it's round ligament pain by other ladies here, however I'll still follow up with my doctor about it next week.

  • I have been getting this after DTD or working out, it goes away once I relax for a bit so I am not too worried. Makes me not want to work out though. I will talk with my dr about it at my appt in a few weeks.

  • I had that w/ DS, and it started in the 2nd Tri... and I've had a little bit of it, but not too bad, this time around. My prev. OB, w/ DS, said it was partly round ligament pain... and that it could also be where LO was sitting, even though (at 14-16 weeks) baby isn't all that big. Ohhhh the things our poor bodies have to go through! I hope it doesnt become too uncomfortable, though! If it does, definitely bring it up to your Doc!

  • yup. I thought I had to pee all the time and then realized it was just muscle pressure :D

  • I don't know if I really have pressure, but it almost feels like my cervix is being pinched.  I will for sure be asking her about that, as well as why my sinuses are bothering me.  More or less sinus infection or pregnancy!

  • Mine isn't painful although I have had lightning crotch a few times but I'm familiar with that and its separate from this.  It just feels sometimes like it's swollen or there is a lot of pressure/heaviness there.  I used to get a similar feeling on the first day or two of af.  Maybe it has to do with needing to have a bm or increased blood flow to the area or baby putting pressure on something.  Maybe it's just pressure because everything is growing.  Who knows, if I remember I'll bring it up to my doc when I go in a few weeks.
