Us - nothing official yet. There is some confusion over whether I'm hosting an open house/drop in type of thing or whether a friend is... so... We'll see! It's also DH's birthday!

my plans involve pajamas, sparkling cider, and lots of appetizers. i'm looking for an easy cheese fondue recipe to try for dinner b/c i think Noah would get a kick out of dipping and it would be something fun and fancy.
DH is working so it will be girls' night here. We're going to bake ... something. And order Chinese. We'll probably also play 538195810 rounds of Candy Land because that's all S wants to do these days. lol
We're doing a family-friendly, early, heavy-appetizers and wine thing at a friend's house. I'm rather looking forward to it (and hoping I will be able to get DS to sleep in their pack n play so we can hang out longer).
We are attending "noon year's eve" at an outdoor shopping center here...carousal rides, face painting, music, and a countdown at noon.
As for grown-up New Year's, we haven't gone out in years. Every year we went out, we always ended up home early (reasons varying from the dating years-getting a drunk friend kicked out of the bar home to the married years-being pregnant and hormonal), so we finally gave in to the fact that we are just happier at home.
We're going to a friends house for a party. Normally we just hang out the 2 of us.
Mom to: Miles (6 year old Maine C00n mix), Boots (5 year old Lab mix), Darla (4 year old GSD/Collie mix), Frankie (1.5 year old DSH mix), Peanut (15 months old - 09/11), and Bean (arriving Feb 2013).
No major plans here! I'm thinking chicken parm for dinner. Kids to bed early and then a movie and/or games for DH and I until midnight accompanied by some champagne. Looking forward to it though!
Well, I might actually be awake to see the new year (for reasons that don't involve a child waking up) for the first time in years. DS's home daycare is hosting a party and sleepover that night so DH and I will be childless. We'll get take-out pizza and champagne and probably watch a movie or 2. I'm excited!
Re: So, who has new year's plans?
