Using LO's photo as your profile pic on FB.
Yes, I do it. I'm one of "them". LOL, a friend of mine complained about people doing it and now I get self-conscious about it. I still do it though.... Does anyone else do it too?

I do it all the time. Of course, there is a pic of me up there ever so often (actually, the pic up there now is of me).
Some don't like it because it isn't really you, but I think my kids are part of me so it is okay
It was a guy, actually. I'm not sure why he complained, something about "it's your facebook profile, so you should have your photo on it."
He's probably an internet creeper- that's the only reason I can see why he'd complain.
Same for me.
Right now, I have a picture of all three of us from his birthday party. But I use pictures of him by himself on a regular basis.

I don't. Just not my thing. It's not his profile, it's mine. And if someone is searching for me, I don't want his face the first thing they see. It's confusing and I don't necessarily want certain people seeing him unless I'm friended to them.
this is usually what I do too... but I always add pictures of DS, most of our family live states away so Facebook is really how they can get pictures of him the fastest. I can care less if it gets on peoples nerves, they can delete me if they want lol
I cannot fathom why anyone would give two sh!ts about what other people put as their FB pic.
Really, if you're taking FB that seriously, then dude needs to get a hobby.
No, he's not. I feel stupid telling people "You'd understand if you had kids"... because it sounds so dang cliche! But I tell them anyway. He is a techie-type plus a perfectionist, so he's just being a little b**.
I would have told him to eff off. What is it to him? He has no life if he's going around making dumb statements about what you should and should not be using for a profile picture.
Oh, I hide or delete people for less than this even! I agree. JMO but 90% of anything people post in their statuses' I could care less about. But I don't go around dictating to them what they should or should not do on the Internet.
I've only used a picture of Evie AND me for my profile pic. Never just a picture of her.

Nope. I'm with your friend- I think it's kind of weird. I will post pictures of me with him, but not pictures just of him. I post those in my photo albums.
My profile is of me, so the picture should be of me, IMO.

Yes, I do. And some people have muppets as their profile pic. And some people have pics of their pet.

Yup, always one of my girls.
A lot of my friends on FB are new mommies. I really only care about seeing pics of their kids and I am pretty sure most of them feel the same way. I doubt anyone is that interested in the fact that I have gained 50lbs in the past two years and I am going gray.
Also, don't really talk about much on FB except my kids. To those who would say I need a hobby -- I have a toddler, an infant and a full time job. I don't have time for a hobby.
