i haven't been able to eat a lot either. i try to snack every 1 1/2 vs waiting on 3 big/regular meals a day. keep taking your prenatals. i also found that i can only take in water at night before bed so thats when i have my water. good luck hope it gets better for u
I don't eat alot in one sitting either. I've been eating smaller meals throughout the day rather than 3 big meals. I think that's pretty common and healthier anyway.

Yes, I fill up really fast (which was so depressing at Thanksgiving)! I'll be REALLY hungry and want to eat a ton but then I start eating and get full so fast. It wasn't like this in my first trimester--I noticed it more in my second. I figure my stomach is filling up with baby and it's not leaving much room for my actual stomach!
I do, and it can be really frustrating! For example, just the other day my DH took me to my favorite restaurant. I was so hungry and really excited for my food, but got full after just a couple minutes. The up side? I always have leftovers for when I need a snack 1 1/2 hours later!
same boat!!!! i get maybe a third of what i used to eat down and feel like i have swallowed an elephant! I too try to eat small amounts every 2 or 3 hours. Some days i worry that i am not getting enough calories in a day! Have you been loosing weight?
Thanks ladies- I guess the baby is just taking up all the room! I have lost like 1 or 2 pounds in my first trimester and I am about to go back to the docs for my second trimester..I guess I should just carry a snack bag around with me!

This!!! I had my eye on so much food at Thanksgiving, but when it came time to actually eat, I got through maybe half and felt stuffed to the gills...epic Thanksgiving failure, lol. I tend to do a lot of light snacking throughout the day now.

yep I have the samething happen to me. And as the baby keeps growing it feels like it gets worse and worse. I try to eat small snacks and stuff throughout the day when I am feeling hungry and then eat much smaller meals. It seems to help.
I'm definitely with you ladies. I've lost some weight as well, but Dr. wasn't worried at my last appointment since in my 1st tri I had those nasty food aversions.
I too eat smaller meals and drink lots of water throughout the day. I don't want to stuff myself to get the necessary calories b/c that's how you wind up over-eating and gaining too much weight.
Personally, I think we are all doing the healthy thing in eating smaller meals and eating healthy snacks in between. This is what you should be doing anyway.
Re: Does anyone fill up fast
I don't eat alot either, but they are probably pretty tasty.
Mmmm...cake!
Awesome! I can't tell you how many times I have wanted to post this but have chickened out.

Wow! It's not great, but I'm relieved to see I'm not the only on with eyes bigger than my stomach these days.
It's been hard to eat normal to large quantites of food all along. The upside is I've hardly gained any weight.
I agree with PPs that it's healtier for us to have four or five smaller meals rather than three big ones anyways.
Happy New Year, everyone!

Same - I lost 12 lbs! But now I'm hungry all the time so that should help things out now that I'm in 2nd tri.
