Pretty sure I had my first contraction with this baby.

I remember what they felt like with DS and this one was definitely different. I was laying in bed and my belly tightened as if i were having a BH, but then I got a pretty big cramping feeling in my lower belly that spread all the way around to my back and felt slightly nauseus. I kind of had to curl up a bit like with DS. I never had back labor with DS and I have a feeling that I am going to get it with DD. Well at least I have an idea of what to look for this time.

    I've been having noticeable BH and contractions with this baby since 24 weeks. Not really much I can do about it other than drink tons of water. I go in for my ultrasounds and let them know I'm having contractions and still see that my cervix is long and closed. Other than that, I just resolve that they will become more frequent and intense from here on out.

    I had my first real contraction of this pregnancy last night at the dinner table with all of DH's family around, and it was strong enough to take my breath away. Awesome.
