H and I are old farts that usually stay home and cook a fabulous meal, get drunk etc. This year we can't figure out what to make though.

TTC #2, Operative hysteroscopy March 2011; IVF #1 long lupron protocol April 2011-cancelled due to poor response; IVF #2 flare protocol May 2011=hospitalization due to abdominal hemorrhage during ER and no fert due to MFI issues. Moving onto international adoption from Moldova January 2013!
we spent the last 4 or 5 years with DH's BFF and his GF. 1st year we all went to the Improv to see Craig Shoemaker. The next years we went to their place (they had new LO) and just hung out. Last year, we had them come to our place, but they were fighting so only DH's BFF came alone.
This year, they want us to go over there - but S goes to bed at 7. We usually don't go over until 8ish... so I told DH to go and I'll stay home. They can play xbox all night.

Over to my parents for dinner and some family time, then to church where my IL's and a bunch of our friends from church say good bye to the old and hello to the new year together. It's actually fun and sweet. Just no alcohol...
We are going to dinner with friends and then probably playing a board game as we ring in the new year at 10 and then off to bed.

Dh and I (old too)....I used to be all fired up to go and get my drink on...about 10-15 yrs ago, now I pray that the DH will not get any crazy ideas to go out. Normally someone will end up being sick..knock on wood....we seem okay for the time being. I think we are going to the casino. They have a great buffet $$$ but okay for special occassion.
I can't hang anymore with the drinking...tooo old. It also will be a happy AF day too...I know what we will not be doing!!!!
