When to transition from formula to milk?

Our preemie (30w6d) twins will be turning 1 at the end of January but their well-baby visit isn't until the end of February so I won't be able to ask the doctor until then.   For those of you with older preemies - did you switch to whole milk at your preemie's first birthday or wait until 12 months adjusted?    

The boys are 17lbs and 14lbs currently and taking the Target brand Gentlease formula if that matters.

    I asked my pedi, and she said at actual age.

    We transition Annabelle at 12 months actual. At her 9 month appointment the doctor told us to start at her actual birthday.

    Our pedi had us transition DD at her actual age. We slowly introduced whole milk by mixing it in with her formula for about a week or so...definitely helped the transition in my opinion.
