Formula checks & Walmart

Does anyone have a PITA time using formula checks at Walmart?  I like to use a check plus a mfr coupon to get the best deal.  At Walmart, they look at me like I have 4 heads when I hand them the check and they have to manually enter it as a vendor coupon, thus not allowing me to use a mfr coupon as well.  I never have this problem at BRU or Target.  Is it my dumbass Walmart or a general Walmart thing?

    YES!!!! EVERY.SINGLE.TIME! they all act like they have never seen a coupon before lol! the one lady tried to tell me i couldnt use it, that i needed ID and that i couldnt use more than one.

    every time they call like 10 people over to figure out what to do

    I tell them how to do it.  I'm like, "No, that is a rebate check.  Total out the purchase, hit "other checks" and then enter the amount."  I've been asked multiple times if I used to work there.    No, I just pay attention and I obviously know how to do your job better than you.

    I do the same thing (use a coupon and a check) and they NEVER know what to do with the check.  They usually don't question me using both, except once...the girl just wasn't even going to enter in one of them and told me the total.  I said, "One is a coupon and one is a rebate check, they can both be used" and she didn't say anything, just worked on fixing it. 

    I figure they have new cashiers like, every two weeks which is why they are all dummies Confused

    I am stuck at the register for at least 10 mins every time I even try to use any sort of coupon. It is frustrating that they can't get their sh!t together.

    Yes!!! I am so glad we switched to Up & Up so we don't have to deal with the stupid and rude cashiers at Walmart. Everytime we would used checks the cashier would roll their eyes. They have to enter them in as checks and I guess it takes longer, o'well its part of your job!!!!

    I stopped buying formula there because of this and ultimately switched to Target name brand.  Target is MUCH better and lets you use multiple checks and at least 1 coupon.  Walmart sucks for baby-related stuff.

    They refused to take our Similac checks.  Even the managers wouldn't take them.  I emailed Similac about it and they said they were going to call the store to straighten it out, but we completely stopped buying our formula there anyways.
