Zero Appetite

Hey all (again),

I am only 4 weeks in and haven't had morning sickness yet (although a little nauseau midlast week), but none since then... which I know is normal to not have it till like six weeks. Anyway, I have zero appetite. Nothing sounds good to me but soda (sprite)  and maybe a super crispy salad... But other than that everything sounds gross. I feel like this is like opposite of what pregnancy should be like. Any thoughts?? Is it just my silly mind?

Re: Zero Appetite

  • Sounds normal to me!  I go from wanting something to the opposite end where nothing sounds appealing.  As long as you're taking vitamins so baby gets what it needs plus trying to eat healthy, then eat what you can.  If a salad sounds good eat that, but if you can try to add chicken or something to add nutritional value. I'm currently at the point where things sound good but half way through it makes me nauseous.

  • You are fine...I am currently almost 12 weeks and don't have much of an appetite myself...I do get hungry just can't figure out what sounds good and most things just sound yucky but I force myself to have a little and definitely take my vitamins....do that and you will be just fine....I had some people tell me that if you don't have much of an appetite it's a girl but I think that's just a myth cause I have had friends who have been on both sides and had girls....
  • I'm exactly the same way.  Nothing sounds good at all and I have to force myself to eat.  At this point, I'll eat anything that might be appetizing even if it's not that nutritious.
