Ob/Gyn recommedations - Spring/Tomball/Woodlands

Hi ladies,

I'm fairly new to the boards here, so I apologize if this has been posted recently.  (I went back a few pages and didn't see anything...)  Anyway, I'm cautiously expecting my first baby after a loss in Sept.  I've been seeing an Ob/Gyn in Tomball, and I like her, but I have some concerns about the office staff and another doctor in the practice that I've heard some not so great things about.  Logistically, staying with a doctor in Tomball would make the most sense because it's between my work and home, but I've had some recommedations for doctors in the Woodlands, as well...so I'm torn.  Does anyone have any experiences with doctors in Tomball and delivering at Tomball Regional, or would you recommend that I make the trek up to The Woodlands?

Thanks so much!

  • I love Dr. Jennifer Breazle and Dr. Chang in The Woodlands and Kingwood.

They are both at Kelsey Seybold.

  • Dr. Davidson in Tomball!!!!!    She came highly recommended from Bump member that is an RN at Tomball Hospital, she's not a patient of hers but knows from working at Tomball that she is the best!

I switched to her in March after my first miscarriage and having a horrible experience with my then ob/gyn.   I unfortunately had a 2nd miscarriage in November and the experience was so different with Dr. Davidson.    I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE her!  She is so awesome and caring and genuinely concerned and has a very positive attitude.

I think there is another Bump member that goes to her too.   I also have a friend who just switched from the practice you are talking about to Dr. Davidson.

I delivered my son at Methodist Willowbrook but I know several people that delivered at Tomball and had great experiences.

  • Thank you for the recommendations!

Britany - I did some Googling on Dr. Davidson, and like you, it seems that a lot of people love her!  So, I gave her office a call and I don't think I'm going to have any regrets about switching (just because the girl that answered the phone was so excited for me!  hahaha).  My first appointment is January 24th, right before my birthday.  :)

Yay!   Her office is great, there's 2 receptionists/front desk girls, an RN, the Dr and then her husband is the office manager...that's IT!    Very small, personal, and laid back.  After one or two appointments, they know you by name and you don't have to sign in or anything like most doctor's offices, the wait times are usually very short too!

Let's us know how your appointment goes!
