Anyone's LO have a Pillow Pet?

Does your LO actually use it as a pillow at night, or is it more of something they play with as a toy? 

DD got two of them from relatives for Christmas and she doesn't seem very excited about playing with them.  She has not been using a pillow, but I was thinking she should probably start, so I put her to sleep with the pillow pet tonight and she is laying on it like a pillow, but it looks like it might be kind of thick/big for her.  I was just wondering what other LOs her age do with them.

    We got both girls one.  Bailey LOVES hers, in fact that was the one constant "want" for Christmas.  Kate lays with it on the floor, but we are not putting it in her crib, I worry that she will figure out how to use it to climb out of her crib.   It is definitely a toy that they will use for a long time.

    My LO got one for Christmas and he's using it as a pillow.  It's smaller than a standard pillow so I think it'd be good to introduce her to using a pillow.

    LO got one for Christmas. He loves it but it is way too big and fluffy to use as a pillow. He also got a little mini knock off pillow pet and that one is pretty flat, he is using that one as a pillow.

    My LO got one for Christmas. We're not using it as a pillow...he walks around hugging it : )

    Mine doesn't like his at all and it isn't firm enough IMHO to use as a pillow in his bed at his age. I am returning it.

    DS got one for Christmas and he kind of likes it. He layed with it when he got it but then moved on to something else. I don't plan on using it as a pillow yet. He doesn't use pillows at all. Maybe when he is a little older. If he wants to use it as a pillow when we are ready I will let him for sure.

    We gave one to DS2 for Christmas and he is completely smitten with it!  He carries it around, he plays with it, he snuggles it, he uses it as a pillow....

    We use it as a pillow. My kid has an unhealthy obsession with pillows though.

    We got DS one several months ago and he's been using it as a pillow ever since.  He loves hugging it too.  He freaked out the other day when he saw me threw it in the washer to wash because he had pink eye.  It was a major melt down!  So needless to say, he loves it!

    I was wondering the same thing. DD got 2 for Christmas as well and she doesn't do anything with them. Hopefully, they will start to grow on her.

    DD has two.  They are way too fluffy for me to feel comfortable putting in bed with her, but I didn't sleep for a whole week when we gave her a real pillow to use.

    She uses her lion before bed.  We have her lay on it while we play with her hair.  She is pretty hyper so that is always her time to relax and get sleepy for bed.

    Katie got the Ladybug around Thanksgiving.  Every so often she will go over to it and point out it's nose to us and give it a couple pats on the back but that's about it.  She has a couple other stuffed animals that she loves.  The Ladybug sort of sits off to the side.

    We got DS one when he was 14 months old and he LOVES it. He uses it as a pillow and he alway carries it around the house all day. lol

    DS got the bee for X-mas. He sits with it or on it. We have a small car pillow that is sometimes in his crib and he sleeps with a mini cookie monster every night.

    We use it as a pillow, but not in her crib. She already has a pillow in there. She uses it downstairs just to lounge on, and hug. :-) She likes it, but it isn't among her most favorite Christmas presents, I don't think.

    My parents gave one to my DD on Christmas Eve.  DD knows it is a pillow and will put her head down on it and say "sleep", but will not actually use it as a pillow.  She seems to like it and it is in her crib for now.  So glad that it is machine washable.

    DD got one for Christmas. We brought it to my inlaws to use as her pillow, she's sleeping on it and she's a fan. It's a little big for her to carry around as a stuffed animal, but I think it's a nice size to use as a pillow for her.

    We gave DD hers to use as a pillow when we switched her to a big girl bed and she LOVES it. My sister bought one for when DD sleeps at her house on Friday nights. She doesn't ever play with it- never has. She does however INSIST to grab it and take it with her in the morning when she wakes up and comes to cuddle in our bed. She'll grab her blanket and her bee before we can pick her up. lol

    Cedric likes his.  He will go lay on it if he notices it on the floor.  We have put it in his bed one night, and he did sleep on it fine.  We left it at the grandparents on Christmas though and need to get it back.  I hope he learns to love it!

    No, we didn't get one for DD.  It's a fad that will come and go fairly quickly and she has no clue about that stuff yet.  I thought it was  a bit unnecessary since she has other stuffed animals that she loves.

    Our daughter loves her pillow pet. She sometimes lays on pillows but usually kicks them off the bed.

    DS has 2 - he got a frog from his cousin and a dog from us.  He keeps giving the dog kisses and will cuddle with it in the living room. We don't put it in his bed since it's soo thick.  I'm looking for a thin pillow to put in there.  But I do keep the frog one on the floor right by his bed so if he happens to fall out in the night he has a soft landing.  =)

    We recently converted his crib to a toddler bed and he fell out on night 2 - but not since.
