Free wrap code? (XP)

I also posted this on the December board but got no responses, so Im trying here too.

So, a few days before Christmas I got a code through Fitpregnancy.com for a free wrap, just pay S/H. I was so busy that I didnt buy it, but was thinking about looking into it. I went back to my email and I think it got deleted and theres nothing in my trash box....Boo!

Does anyone know the site Im talking about? I know the Promo Code was 'FIT'. Anyone actually get one of these wraps? I know this is the 2nd time Ive gotten a promo code from that site. My boys were never really into carriers and wraps werent that big (that I know of) when they were babies, but I think Ari will be the type of baby that would LOVE to be in a wrap. TIA guys.

I found it through a web search right after I posted this...not sure why I couldnt find it earlier. But thanks a bunch. Mine is ordered now.

Have you used it yet? How do you like it?

i haven't gotten it in the mail yet but i am anxious to try it. i googled and found some reviews. the general consensus i saw was that they are just ok, and best for quick in and out trips.

  • I ordered mine a while back.  I don't like it - neither does Rodney. He is so smashed and uncomfortable.  He does well for about 10 - 15 minutes before he gets super fussy.  Glad I only payed shipping but wish I didn't buy one at all.

  • I think it depends because I got one and my baby can spend all day in it. I've heard though of both ends with people who like it and people who don't.

  • We got one of these as well and I can tell you that we've used it almost daily for 3 weeks now! My LO LOVES it so much. We put her in it and she's instantly calm. It wraps her so nice and close to me that she falls right to sleep and never fusses. If she is awake she just sits and looks around at everything... We also have a baby bijorn and I can tell you that we love this sling soooo much more!

DH calls it our kangaroo pouch because her head just pops out and its like I'm constantly holding her. I think its a much more natural postition for a newborn to be in that they feel like they're still in the womb.

The only thing I will say is I hope you got the sizing right. I find from other mommies on here that if its too tight you and baby will both be uncomfortable. I went by the sizing suggested but I know a lot of other people will say to go by every other measurement than what the site suggests!

    GL!!!

I figured that it was a love/hate thing...we'll see how ours is...

And RE: Sizing---Eeeek...I got mine according to the size I am now based on their sizing charts (I do have 40-50 lbs to lose--only like 10-15 is pregnancy weight) so hopefully it will work--if not, more incentive to lose the weight!!

PS--I also live in Phoenix--right on the Avondale/Tolleson line...how about you?
