Has anyone had (or known anyone who had) what they thought was AF, tested anyway and got a BFP?? I got what I think is AF a week early this cycle. Which is weird for me!!!!!! I have been exhausted (for what appears to be no reason) had no appetite what so ever and have waves of nausea that hit me fast and then disapear... AF wasnt even scheduled to appear until the 28th. So I am wondering if this is even worth "wasting" a test on?
Some input would be great!
Re: Completely Confuzzled!!
Maybe you could waste an OPK, and use it as a HPT. My BFF had "bleeding" where her period would have been when she found out she was pregnant. I dont know.
anyway Good luck!
Wellll I say "think" because I have talked to a lot of people who have very heavy spotting or implantation when they are pregnant. I am not an idiot and do understand what it means to have a period. I also do not have a cold or flu or anything. I am asking because I have been feeling off. And in recieving other less condescending posts and comments from other people I see that I am not alone in wondering this.
I don't think she was being condescending. Can you bleed and still be KU? Of course. Can we tell you if you are pregnant? No. POAS.

What is heavy spotting? if it's implantation it will be light n usually when you wipe
Heavy spotting is different from red flow. If it was red flow, then you had your period. If it was just spotting, then you didn't have your period and it is possible that you're pregnant.
A lot huh? Implantation bleeding is rather rare. So, if you know all of this my advice? Take. a. darn. test.
Your right she may not have been being condescending.
However, I did feel as though she was so I addressed it accordingly.
Sorry If that was out of line. I just dont like being talked to like an idiot. And thats how I felt it came across.
If this is how you took her comment than you're in for a ROUGH ROUGH ROUGH ride around these parts.....just a head's up.
Really? Sorry, but I'm not seeing it. Lynn asked a question for clarification so that she could give you relevant advice and answer your question. I'm not sure what you would have preferred that she say.
This is exactly what happened to me. I had what I thought was AF a week early (I'm usually right on time or a few days late but NEVER early with AF). I started using OPKs about 10 days later because I assumed I would be ovulating soon, long story short turns out I was pregnant. Unfortunately I had a MC about a week later. I would wait a day or two after when you expected to AF to arrive. GL it's definitely possible that you are KU.
Test! It happened to me, I thought I had AF early, and two weeks later got a BFP. I would def. test just to be sure!
Based simply on this response, I say, please don't come to this board asking questions then get your panties in a twit because no one says, "Well of course you are KTFU! SQUEEE" If that is what you are looking for you are in the wrong place. She asked a very relevant question, since your post wasn't clear about what "I think my period came" meant. So step off your soapbox for a minute and realize that all she was trying to do was help.
PS - if you had unprotected sex, you could be pg. Since we aren't HPT's or the tampons in your cabinet, we can not tell you if you had your period, or if you are pg.
This happened to me as well. I also did not want to "waste" a test and used an OPK instead and got a BFN!

AF came two days early but I only bled for a day and then spotted for a day. That NEVER happens but I also am under a lot of stress this month. To bad my first cycle charting is all screwy but good luck to you and so sorry some people's lives are personally affected by the way you ask questions! haha! GL I hope you have a BFP!
