scary evening (turned out ok)

I have now been in the ER twice in one week. DH, the pup and I drove 7 hours today to my brother's in Cincinnati. And of course, having had no bleeding whatsoever in either of my home towns, I went to the bathroom and to see bright red blood all over my underwear, almost 500 miles from home. I freaked, and my brother took me and DH to the ER.
Luckily, they got me back in a room and did an ultrasound really quickly, and there was the baby waving its arms and legs, with a strong heartbeat! I am so relieved, and I don't think I've ever seen a more beautiful sight.
The ER doctor said it was probably the sch that I knew I had finally coming out. I hadn't had any bleeding at all even though the sch was clearly visible on my first u/s at 6w5d. And the bleeding has now mostly stopped. So hopefully this is just a scary story with a happy ending.
