Short of going to get waxed (can't do it/ won't do it) WTH are you ladies doing to keep it neat down there? I am having an increasingly harder time seeing/ reaching my vag, nevermind with a RAZOR!

Are you getting help from hubby? Using yoga poses and mirrors? I need some suggestions or the next 3 months will NOT be pretty!

I don't wax or shave to begin with (used to wax and then decided it just wasn't for me, I grow pretty neat and tidy anyway...) but when I DO need to trim or check out down below I've found that laying a hand mirror on the closed toilet seat and then putting one foot up on the toilet lets me see the sights. No yoga poses necessary. Wink

Mirrior and just trimming with an electric. I can't get the razor there anymore and I cut myself the last time I blindly did it. I don't feel comfy asking DH to shave it for me.

I trim with an electric and shave my legs up to my bikini line with my normal razor. That's as good as it's gonna get, lol.

I go blindly and my feel and then DH checks for me to see if I missed anything. I was using a mirror but then my cat knocked it off the ledge and broke it. I was so upset that DH volunteered to help out.

there is a "razor type thing" for your bikini line on the market. it doesn't use an actual razor so you cannot get a close shave but you can trim your lady area. i use that so i can maintain a half way decent look but not worry about cutting anything.

I was able to reach it to shave myself until about 32 weeks. I did a blind shave around then and determined I wouldn't be doing THAT again. It grew like the jungle until just before my 36w appointment, when DH held a mirror for me. We'll be continuing with the mirror hold on a weekly basis now, because it's too uncomfy when it grows out.

Speaking from experience... DO NOT..GET A BRAZILLIAN WAX WHILE PREGNANT. I got one about 6 weeks ago, thinking "Oh, I'm so smart...I can't see myself down there, I'll just pay someone to groom that area"... worst mistake ever. I straddle walked out of that place thinking that I'm not going to be able to handle labor. It was totally like that scene in the 40 year old virgin when he's getting waxed the first time. And after, my vag was sore for 4-5 days, AND despite taking home special "cream" for the hair cuticles they ripped out, I had like little white heads on my ho ha for several days too. I went to a NICE Spa too! They used all the special wax and etc. The only good part is, I didnt need to groom for like a month...and I swear, some of the hair didnt even come back!

Still.. NOT WORTH IT! Now I just blindly shave what hair I have left down there. Smile

Brazillian!!! I had my first two ever done during this pregnancy and love not having to shave anymore! It was not painful much at all for me thankfully.

Waxing sucks and hurts! This keeps it neat and hubby loves it. It's super easy and way faster than other "trimming" methods. It's easy to do with a pregnant tummy since it has a guard on it, and has 5 (I think?) length settings. I use the shortest. Haven't had any problems/nicks/cuts.

I just go for it blind. This is my third rodeo and I've gotten pretty good at it. I don't do a whole lot of work down there anyway, so it's not too hard. I could never shave it all off while pregnant, though. That's just an accident waiting to happen.

Every so often I try the little Gilette trimmer, but I'm probably just shaving train tracks. Oh well - out of sight, out of mind.

I just do it blindly while I'm in the shower. I've never had an issue with nicks or cuts.

I just bend down very far to see. lol I was able to go it til the very end with no assistance when pg with DS. Of course it's not AS good of a job as I would be doing not pg, but it's good enough.

I used a razor, not very well. Then my hair stopped really growing, it grew back in small patches (normal during pregnancy I have read). So now my beaver looks like it has mange. So sad. I am glad I can't see it. When I finally feel gutsy enough I am going back to my waxer. She has a really good sense of humor. I was just trying to save maternity leave money. Bad idea.

I use the Shick TrimStyle trimmer end to tidy up! I tried using a razor about a month ago and it was not good. I ended up nicking myself and it stung for a few days so from now out, I'm going to just keep things short down there.

I'm at the point where I've just given up and just try not to think about it. I'm scared to do anything for fear that I'll cut something by accident. I can't see anything down there. I would never ask DH to do that. I just couldn't bring myself to ask. I can't even bury my pride enough to ask him to tie my shoes for me.
