I was getting stuff out of the microwave and the water went all over my right hand and down my arm. I've done the cold water and now I've got frozen peas on it and it's starting to blister. Have aloe Vera spray but no plant.
Anything else I could do? Soon as the cool wears off it hurts like hell.
Re: NTR-advice- I just freakin burned myself
keep it under the cold water or with the frozen peas. DO NOT put ointment or aloe vera spray on it. if you are serious that it is starting to blister i would wrap it in a cold wet towel and go to the ER. blistering this quickly is probably a 2nd degree burn.
DH is a firefighter and i know this because of him. if it is serious--don't mess around with it.

Im so worried for you
I spilled a pot of boiling water on myself a few years ago. I went to the ER and they cleaned it with saline and gave me an ointment (Silvadene) to put on it and keep it covered.
If you can't get to the ER, call your doc and they will give you a script for it. It worked wonders, I don't have any scarring and I had 2nd degree burns on 18% of my body.
And ditto the cold, wet cloths. DON'T put anything on it until you can talk to your doctor or go in.
NO--do not put anything on it, it will smother the burn and trap it. you need the heat to escape. only cold water!!!! take 2 tylenol if you are in pain. if you have blisters it is still a 2nd degree burn. i would get it looked at.
