    I like your determination, peanut!

  • No clue. My baby is breech and I have felt his head all up in my ribs for weeks now.

DD #1 passed away in January 2011 at 14 days old due to congenital heart disease
DD#2 lost in January 2012 at 23 weeks due to anhydramnios caused by a placental abruption
  • I'm not a crazed eighteen year old peanut. You can continue to obsess if you like though.
  • And to what would you be referring? :)

  • putting pressure on her bottom (it was her bottom that was under my rib cage) made her move for me usually. I don' think that she fits anymore because she has not done it in a while.
  • As in pressing down? That can't hurt the baby can it? I know, I know childish question. Still though, a woman's gotta worry.

Peanut : I read a few of the posts on second trimester. I don't want to respond because I can see they're pretty much just waiting to attack. I don't do drama well on the internet, it just makes me feel stupid to try to insult people that don't even know me.

Also, I never meant to insult the chick who asked about weight gain. I didn't realize how bad it sounded when I typed it. I only meant to say that she should see the nutritionist if she's worried about weight gain. They're really helpful.

So please, just tell the other board they can feel free to say whatever they like to eachother. However, I don't personally want to be involved.

  • Ok, I'm confused about the direction this post had taken, but to answer the original question, I'll gently push down (nothing hard of course), tickle him, raise my shoulder on that side to increase space in my ribcage and then walk around a bit to see if he'll move, etc.
  • Nothing ever worked for me with DD. She consistantly kicked me in the ribs for the last month or so. When she was born she had a calus on the end of her heel, I'm not kidding. The doc said he had never seen it so they removed the calus and I guess tested it. But it was just skin! Good luck! I hope you can get some relief. I know how painful it is. I'm only 29 wks and haven't had that prob with this preg yet!
  • The cat/cow yoga pose has helped me in the past....
