So I'm trying to figure out what else I can introduce to DD. I was rooting through my cabinet and saw a can of Libby's Pumpkin puree. I was going to make pumpkin pie for Thanksgiving, but someone beat me to it. Anyway, the only ingredient in it is.....pumpkin. Sounds pretty safe, right?
I was going to water it down some because it's pretty thick, but would you use this for baby food? This sounds a lot easier than buying a pumpkin, cutting it, cooking it, pureeing it, etc.... In reality, I'm just super lazy! Thanks.
Re: Libby's Pumpkin Puree as baby food?
Can you send me a pumpkin pie? No one ever makes them in our family anymore
Canned pumpkin is fine (canned pumpkin pie filling is not, obvs.)
My DS had some for dinner last night. He loved it!
Happy Birthday, little man. We love you so much!
My favorite money saving tip: I've earned more than $300 in gift cards (Amazon, Starbucks, Southwest!) using SwagBucks for internet searching - and you can too! It's FREE and EASY!
Yep - works just fine. I even freeze it in ice cube trays just like any other food I make for DS. When I put them in a dish for daycare I will add a little cinnamon sometimes to give him a bit of spice.
I also gave him pumpkin pie on Thanksgiving - oh, the horror.
