fun things to do on cmas eve (w/ toddler)

Normally we have plans w/ family but this year things are shifted, so we have a day off and Ryan is home.

Does anyone have any fun ideas for the morning?

I wanted to go to the zoo, but, they are closed.  I'd like to go look at lights in the evening.

Thanks!

  • DH has to work till noon, so we are going to go to the Children's Museum with my sister for a few hours.  If you dont want to go out, you could make cotton ball snowmen as a fun project, or gingerbread houses.  Luke and I made playdoh ornaments last weekend using something similar to this.

  • We are also going to the Children's Museum. I figure it's going to be crowded, but probably no more so than a normal Saturday.

  • I like the gingerbread house idea.  Good to have an "at home" idea since the weather might be icky.

We are going to try to do the same - try to hit it up between naps :)

(I have no idea how to make a gingerbread house. Fail.)

Michaels sells pre baked kits. Wink (they're on sale too!)
