What's on your bucket list?

My coworkers and I were talking at lunch today and they started talking about their bucket lists...that got me thinking of doing a "40 Before 40 List."  Yes, I am on that side of 30. 

I want to run/walk a 5K.  Travel to Ireland and England.  Write an article or short story and have that published.  Go see a movie at the theater - alone.  Get in the best shape of my life.  The list goes on...hopefully with 40 things :)

    go on an African safari (photo, of course)

    visit Alaska

    drive U.S. 50 coast to coast

    visit New York City (never been)


    DH & I have an ever-evolving wishlist of travel destinations & dive sites, and I'm working on list of things I want to do in 2011, but as far as a real "bucket list" for myself, those four are probably at the top of my list right now.

    1. Make it to the Macy's Day Parade

    2. See a broadway show

    3. Own 365 pairs of nice shoes at one time (I have about 200 so this goal isn't incredibly far off.)

    4. Make it to France with my best friend.

    5. Raise a happy and healthy family.

    i want to get married by elvis - we are doing that this october. we are going to renew our vows with elvis in front of the welcome to vegas sign. i am stoked. :)

    go to new orleans for mardi gras

    You do know about the local company that offers these flights, don't you? They operate out of lunken ands even have a bed in the back. I will try to find their website and they run specials around Valentine's Day.
