What a nightmare commute :-/

I left work at 4 and after picking Aiden up at daycare, we were on the snowy highway by 4:20.  We got home at 6:35.  Yeah, you read that right.

The poor kid fell asleep at first and then woke up screaming until he was gagging himself.  It really wasn't safe for me to pull over and really, there wasn't anything I could do.  He just hates stop and go traffic.  I did throw it into park a few times to give him back his binky and thankfully he did end up falling asleep again.

Oh and how much snow was on the ground, you ask?  About an inch.

    Holy crap what road do you take?  I left early too but fortunately it only took me about an hour.  I hate that every year the first "storm" is like people have never frickin' seen snow before!!!

    I take 128 North from Burlington all the way up to Lynnfield then I cut through there and take Rt 1 to Malden.  The snow sucked but on top of that, a truck hit a car so they both stopped right in their lane to exchange information.  Nice.

    Figured you HAD to be from MA!!! Stuff falls from the sky around here on a pretty regular basis..it is New England after all! But seriously?  I left Boston at 2:30...got to my Aiden in Quincy at 4:30...then not home to Dedham til 6:10!!!!!!!  WTF!!!  First snow and ppl freak the eff out!!!
