NBR: Pandora Bracelets

Anyone have one?  I'm getting one for Christmas (I know already because DH cannot keep a secret to save his life), and I'm curious...do I need to take it off every night?  I am the person that sleeps in all of my jewelery..rings, necklace, whatever.  I also shower with it all on.  Am I going to be able to do that with this bracelet, or should I take it off every time?

Re: NBR: Pandora Bracelets

  • I have a full one that took about 5 years to fill and will be getting a second for Christmas. :)

My actual bracelet is from Trollbead and the beads are all a mix of silver, gold, and glass from both Trollbead and Pandora. I think I have some Zable and non-brand-name ones on there, too. I never take it off - shower with it on, sleep with it on, etc. I used to take it off when I ran because it is kind of heavy and the sliding around was annoying. But I won't be back to running for a while, lol. My bracelet shows no signs of wear or other issues, but again, my actual chain is different than Pandora's. They're both Sterling, though, so I can't see a problem with it.

Enjoy it! I love charm bracelets and the slide-on type are the best, because the charms never catch on things and get ripped off.

  • Thanks!  I know the beads/bracelet he bought are Pandora, but I suspect that I'll probably end up filling it with others too.  A lot of the jewelry stores have their own version right now too, and I know a lot of people who mix the brands.  Pandora advised against that, but I'm assuming that's because they want the money.  I'm glad to know that you have all different kinds and it's still in great condition.  I hate taking my stuff off to shower/sleep..I always forget to put it back on.

  • I have one and take it off to shower and sleep b/c its too heavy, but that will depend on how many charms you have on it. Also, if its specifically Pandora they advise that you don't wear it in the shower.

  • I'm getting one for Christmas too! My mom bought it for me with a baby carriage charm =)

As for sleeping with your jewelry, I think it's up to you. If it doesn't bother you, then wear it. I can sleep with my earrings on (if they're posts) and rings, but not necklaces or bracelets. GL.
