neti pot users?

I've never used a neti pot before, but it sounds like a good option for dealing with my symptoms without taking too many meds.  For those who have used them: are they pretty straightforward and easy to use?  How long does it provide relief?  Any particular brand recommendations?  Thanks!

    We have one!  I'm not sure what brand it is. I thought Dh was loony when he brought it home from the pharmacy, but it does help.  It comes with instructions and is quick and easy to use!

    I bought mine at my yoga studio.  It's pretty simple.  One tip that helps me to make sure I don't have the water run down the back of my throat is to actually lay my head on the sink. I try to use it once daily and if I'm sick I'll use it twice a day.

    I think they're great. Fairly easy to use, but two words of warning: 1) do NOT add anything to the mix you use, especially if some stupid well-meaning pharmacist suggests mint oil. That's real bad. 2) Don't use after eating candy corn, or if you do, don't freak out when you have neon snot.
