24 hour urine jug full!

So I ran into an unexpected problem. It's 11pm and I just filled up my urine jug for my 24 hour test. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I can do? I still have 9 hours left on my test. Thanks!

Update: I called my hospital and got connected to the ER. They ended up being able to get me a new jug. Luckily we are only about a mile away from the hospital so I was able to quickly run down there. Thank goodness I will be able to continue the test tonight and not have to start over!

I just filled mine up but thank goodness I only have an hour to go. I was worried when I peed at 4 am that it was going to overflow, but it didn't. I guess if I need to pee in the next few minutes I could put it in a Tupperware or something. Gross!

Hi, I lurk over here as I have chronic high blood pressure (should probably post an intro soon!)... similar thing happened to me, well, actually, knowing that I pee a ton I asked for a second jug to start with. Got a lot of laughs when I did though... but was vindicated when I brought both back and the second was 1/3 full.

I think they said that if you have a clean container you can just use that for any "extra"... but I'm glad you were able to get another jug!

I am apparently a champion pee-er because I filled the first to the tippy top and the second jug 3/4 of the way too! LOL! Now when the nurse bugs me about making sure to drink enough water I have proof!
