I think reality is hitting DH :-)

We've both been rather reserved with everything baby/pregnancy related, but him more than me (he's worried that something will go wrong - understandable).

We're talking about things that needed to get done around the house and I had my back to him, I turned around, and he looks at me, then my belly and goes "Oh my gosh! We still need to get all of that stuff done too!"

The other day he says to me, "Do you know that I love you and our baby?"

Then the other night he was, in a roundabout manner, asking when he should be able to feel the baby kick.

It's totally awesome to hear him ask those things.

Isn't it, though?  Especially with a DI pregnancy?  You have to admire our husbands for being so on board under circumstances that are rather touchy.  Bless their hearts.  DH used to say to me for the first couple of months of Cal's life, "Look what you made!"

I know what you mean. It has been feeling real for both of us since we have found out that there's a little boy in there. So bizarre but so awesome!

I will never forget the look of amazment on DH's face when he felt Fenton kick for the first time.  It was like a light went on in his brain and he finally felt reality set in.
