I haven't gone out of my house since we've had pretty cold weather and the babies have been sick
. I want to start getting them on a schedule in their cribs as i go back to work right after xmas ![]()
and was going to buy this book but i'm not sure if i want to use it? I can order it from amazon if it sounds like what i want to do. Can anyone share a sample schedule of what they suggest?
Thanks!!
Re: sample babywise eat/sleep schedule
I definitely recommend ordering it. It's a lot more than just a schedule. : )
Here's a blog I've found really helpful. It has a sample schedule here:

Caden! Thanks so much! I am so in love with your little babies. This photo is sooooooo cute!!!! Thanks for the blog as well. I'll def look into it and may purchase it today. Do you think i'm starting it too late at 10wks?
Thank you!!
Nope I don't think it's too late. Not that I know exactly what you're doing at home, but from what I've read of your posts I don't think you're far off from what the book recommends anyway. Even though I read that book a while ago, I haven't been following it 100% and it's still working out for me. The main gist is to focus on full feedings at every feeding in the beginning and your LOs will put themselves on a predictable pattern of feeding. Once that happens you just encourage them to Feed, have wake time, then sleep (as opposed to feed, sleep than wake time). Healthy sleeping patterns should emerge once those things are made routine and your babies are old enough to know night from day (which yours are). If not, then you may have to sleep train your LOs, but most of the time it works on its own. If you're already doing the above then you're good to go with this book. If not, then they're not too old to start fresh : )
This is the bulk of what the book says. If you'd like to know more, borrow from the library. I bought it and I wish I hadn't.
I disagree. I think if you're going to use this method then you should buy the book! I still refer to it all the time! It's only $6 on Amazon.
