Although we love Jacob, we can't get past the names popularity. I think we are down to these 2. Which do you prefer? I think middle name will be John. And yes - Conor would be 1 n (family history of 5-letter names).
Only because Conor John rhymes and sounds a bit silly.
SIDE NOTE: At my school's recent homecoming bonfire, I ran into some alumni that now have two sons. Their sons' names: Tyler and Coner. Coner was spelled like that in order to match the -er on Tyler.
Too funny - we have a Jacob but Connor and Tyler were both on our long list for him as well.
Jacob is obviously my favorite of the three (regardless of popularity). Connor would come in second (although I'm not a fan of the spelling you are using), and then Tyler third.

I like Connor (spelled with 2 Ns) better, because Tyler sounds feminine to me (not that it should be a girls' name, but that it sounds like a feminine boy's name).

So, everybody has to have five letters in their name? Do people really pick up on that kind of thing? I think you're overthinking.
Conor just looks wrong and you've sentenced your child to a lifetime of correcting people. Even if it's a traditional Irish spelling, you don't live in Ireland where it's more common.
Sorry.. pass.

i am not a fan of conor with one "n". we know 4 connors under the age of 5 and only one tyler so i would vote Tyler==TJ or CJ with that middle name are fun!

Actually, Conor is not misspelled. Conor is an Irish name and in Ireland it is spelled with one N: https://www.cso.ie/releasespublications/documents/births_d_m/current/babynames.pdf
Connor with two Ns is a last name. We are 100% Irish (from Ireland) and we named our baby Conor.
So, everybody has to have five letters in their name? Do people really pick up on that kind of thing? I think you're overthinking.

Tyler is just eh for me. What about Conan? 5 letters, same feel as Conor but less hassle. Other 5 letter names:
Scott, Micah, Peter, Wyatt, Rufus, Simon, David or Trent
