How did you meet your H? - a cambodian student organization in college. I'm not cambodian but my friend who is decided I could tag along in their meeting and see if I like to join. That's how DH and I met.
Something random- I used to work out 5-days a week. I'm a two-time P90X graduate, now I'm just a couch potato. So sad. I'm a tiny girl but I used to be proud to say "but I can outrun you if we raced" now I think a 2-year old can easily out run me.
ETA: it also irks me to the core whenever I see the word "ute" around here. It maybe is the maternity nurse in me but come on people, it's only 3 more letters to complete it!

Long Story, but this is the slightly shorter version- We met when we were 16. We dated, he took another girl to prom, we broke up. We went off to college. Then ran into each other 6 years after we originally met and that was the end of it. We got married almost exactly ten years after we met in HS.
Something Random- If it weren't the food aversions I would probably still be in complete denial that I am pregnant again.

How did you meet your H?- At a bar!!! Long story, but we were supposed to meet before hand through a mutual friend. The friend didn't get around to setting up a date, so as luck would have it we met one night at a bar instead!

How did you meet your H? In high school a mutual friend told me the only guy perfect for me was my H. My friend was right! We met at an ice cream shop one night and have been together ever since...11 years together and our 2nd wedding anniversary is coming up Dec. 27th!

How did you meet your H? Grew up down the street from each other, even played on the same 2nd grade soccer team! Never dated in high school or anything...fast forward to our ten year reunion where we saw each other for the first time since graduation. We exchanged numbers and were engaged five months later!
Something random- I have run five full marathons and was even on the USAF marathon team when I was an Officer out of college.
Whoa, where did you go to training at? I was at Sheppard for five years...as a Flight Physiologist, running the altitude chamber, then I'd commute to San Antonio once a month to run the fighter guys/gals through the centrifuge! I'm sure we know a ton of people in common. Very cool.

I did start writing a book over a year ago so getting that published and writing sequels would be my actual dream job- and I could still be a SAHM. I just need to get motivated b/c I haven't been working on it!!!

How I met my H: In high school. We worked at Dairy Queen together. I made ice cream treats and he made burgers- pretty dorky huh? He was my prom date. He waited a year to start college until I finished high school and we moved in together. Been together ever since.
Something Random: I have become addicted to all the pregnancy shows on TLC and Discovery Health- A Baby Story, Bringing Home Baby, Pregnant and..., and the newest one that I just saw is Pregnant and in Peril. What have I learned from them? Nothing except that 90% of newborns are ugly- UGLY! Yes they get cuter, but fresh from the womb- not so much

Dream Job: I would love to be able to be a stay at home mom. While I love nursing and it is rewarding it can also be exhausting, physically and emotionally. Other than that I've recently gone back to school and am considering a career change, just not sure what yet.
Hobbies: Reading, shopping, and spending any minutes I can get with my husband and joining in on his hobbies..golf and hunting.
Something random: I know it's totally going to be worth it but I find the thought of what this pregnancy will to do my body very stressful. Vain and selfish...I know. I also worry about how one of my dogs will react to the LO and fear that I may have to find her another home which absolutely breaks my heart, but again...I know that I have to do what needs to be done for my baby.

How did you meet your H? A mutual friend tried to set us up for 3-4 months but I kept blowing it off. Eventually that friend just gave H my number and for two weeks he bugged me to go out. I gave in and we met at a restaurant and the rest is history. Now I wish I would have met him when my friend first tried to set us up.

OK...we are totally running together when I move to Portland!!! I'm a marathoner too and have run 7 fulls. I can picture it already....the two of us with our BOB Revolutions out for a run

How did you meet your H? At a party the week after I graduated HS. I was super shy and had no idea how to flirt, so I would poke him in the stomach when ever he passed me, until he finally judo chopped me in the ear. From that point we went outside and sat on a swing for about 7 hours talking, singing our favorite songs, and just getting to know eachother
Moved in together a week later, married 3.5 years after that! (p.s. at the time he felt the need to lie about his age and say he was 23, instead of 22. Why, you may ask? To this day, he has no idea why he did it, he just thought it'd make him sound cooler... until his mom ratted him out on his real age a month later, lol)
Something Random: My husband got to work from home today because of icy roads but I had to go into my office, grrrr!
Occupation: I'm a chemical and biomedical engineer. Currently I am head of manufacturing for a small veterinary medical device company.

Something random: While I was being born, I tore a ligament in my neck and it wasn't diagnosed until I was 4 years old. Because of it, my head is very slightly tilted to the left. Its only noticable if I actually tell people or if I wear long earings because the hang at different lengths!
Dream job - Acting. I was in a bunch of plays in High School and was always so happy on stage.

How did you meet your H? Work. When I was in law school I was an intern at the office I work at now. I was working on a homicide trial and he was the forensic detective assigned to the case. Not particularly romantic...but probably pretty unusual!

Dream Job - I would ultimately love to me a SAHM, but know that we can't afford it. I would just love to be doing something more rewarding and more geared towards my degree in finance, but jobs are hard to come by around here lately.

How did I meet my H? Our friends were dating in high school and we all went bowling one night. We all four hung out everynight for a few weeks, my H and I went on our first "date" and our friend broke up a week later. Anyway we've been together ever since.
Something random - we are remodeling our family room (a converted garage that was poorly done by the previous owners) and I am so over it......
Dream job - Probably working in a wedding dress shop. I could sit and watch girls try on wedding dresses all day. Or maybe live on an island and do scuba/snorkel tours. oooh oooh, or work for the travel channel and get to travel all over the world. I think that would be #1...if I could bring my family with me! I guess that would have been ideal to have a job like that before having a family.

How did you meet your H? Through a mutual friend, Bill. Bill is a long time friend of my family and he also worked with my husband. Our first date was a double date with Bill and his wife because my husband is so shy around women (or so I was told). Bill told me that my husband doesn't talk very much, so be prepared, but the truth was that my husband didn't shut up our whole first date which meant that he was comfortable with me
The rest is history.
Something random- I have been seriously thinking about an elective ultrasound even though I know that it would be better to spend the money on something else for the baby.
Occupation: Don't really have one currently. I am still in college so I only work part time.
Dream Job: If all goes according to plan, in a few years I'll be a lawyer..or an Elementary Teacher. Big difference, I know.
Hobbies: Riding horses! And I'm so sad that I can't right now. I also love anything involving children. I teach VBS class in the summer and small camps, love it!
How did you meet your H?: He was actually my older brothers best friend. He was always at our house and I've had a crush on him since junior high. I never knew he was interested in me too.. of course he waited until I was no longer jailbait
