Did you bring baby to 6 week appt?

I have mine today and I'm wondering if I should get some one to watch DD for me. Thanks!

    I took DS, most people do. The nurses like to see the baby anyway usually lol

    My doc said if I don't bring a pic bring the baby because he loves to see the babes. My LO did wanna nurse tho but i had his dad there to help. So if you have someone going with you I say take your cutie pie, the docs like to see what they birthed lol

    I brought DS to mine. He slept in his carseat the whole time. The nurse at my 2 week checkup said they'd be more than willing to hold him if they needed to though..

    My doc's office all loved him because he was so small and was doing so well, especially since I had my 6 week pp before my due date!

    Yes - and he was having a VERY fuss day.  I was trying to rock his carseat through the entire exam just to keep him quiet.  My doctor assured me that his fussing bothered me much more than it bothered them.  She seemed to think it was funny.  I guess she didn't mind because when she sees babies, they're usually crying and screaming their way into the world.

    No.  It was my first opportunity for "me time".  The girls stayed home with DH.

    Yes, I brought him. He did start fussing right when I was getting checked (of course!), but my dr was fine with it.

    I took my baby with me. He was asleep! I LOVE this pic! Too cute!!

    DH watched DS during my appointment because it was convenient for him to do so. Otherwise I would have taken LO with me.

    I took her and they were really excited to see her. DH had come to every appointment with me and got to know my OB well along with me, so she was trying to decide who B looks like. I was glad I brought her--and then she had a colic meltdown on the way out the door and screamed all the way home. I'd take the chance though!

    At my two week appointment my OB held DD the entire time and I didn't get her back until I was walking out the door. I plan on bringing her to the six week too.

    I'm taking mine.  I've heard the nurses/secretaries fuss at people who didn't bring their babies to their appointment at my OB's office!  They love to see the babies and everyone wants to get to be the one to hold the baby while you visit with the doctor.  It's kind of sweet really!  :)
