I HATE HATE HATE (yes, I feel that strongly) when people say "conversate" or any variation of the word. The appropriate word is "converse" or "conversing".

I was lurking on another board and saw it. And I hear people say it IRL way too often. Educated people that should know better. I also hear "orientated" (As in a patient is alert and orientated x3). Oriented would be correct. It makes me cringe every time but I would never correct someone (especially because it's always my superiors or nurses during clinical rotations).
