Multiples

Best stroller for multiples?

Does anyone have the Kolcraft Contous tandem stroller?  Opinions?  Do you love it?  Do you wish you had chosen a different stroller?  If so which one?  We are outgrowing our douple snap n go and am looking for opinions!

Thanks,

Kim

  • We have the BOB duallie stroller and even though I'm not a jogger, we love it! :)

  • I have the Kolcraft and LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it!  I do have 2 complaints, the basket is kind of hard to access, and there's no snack try for the boys.  Some people say that it's heavy, but what do you expect from a double stroller?  I LOVE that I can switch the seats to any direction, love that it can be used as a DSNG, a SNG with seat, both seats.  The basket is big enough that sometimes my 3 y.o. will sit in the basket between the seats.  It looks like a nicer stroller, I get so many comments and compliments on it.
  • I have the graco quatro tour duo, but a twin mama friend of mine has the contour and loves it.  She loves having the options to face them towards each other or front to back.  I went with the graco because it used our carseats and my SIL has connections to the graco factory and we got a big discount!  I plan on getting a city mini after the girls are older to use as well.

  • It looks like such a nice stroller, I wish we would have waited and gotten it! Right now we are still using our DSNG, but we also have a Graco Duoglider that we got for 50% off last winter... We couldn't pass up the price, $60.

  • We loved this one and got it as a baby gift for our twins. We heard a ton of good things about it from people we know!
  • I have this and I used it all the time when they were in their infant seats as a snap and go.  Personally I liked it better than the simple snap and go because it felt more stable and strong and has a huge basket underneath.  I can go to the grocery store and fit a ton of stuff under there.  Now that the girls are older and we bought a BOB doullie I ONLY use it when going to the grocery store by myself or to other stores where I want a more narrow stroller.  Since taking the infant seat holders out and using the real seats I personally have a hell of a time getting the dark thing to close and it is heavy, but so is my bob.
  • Never tried that one but have a Chicco Double and love, love, love it!!  Also have a double jogger.

  • I can count on my 2 hands how many times I've used it, and I had it before I even got our DSNG.  It's a good quality stroller for the price.  Unlike AussieMom, one of the things I like about it is the incredible basket underneath.  Great seating options.  Great canopy coverage.  Looks nice.  Nice parent console.

It weighs a ton.  It's like 45lbs.  BOB is 33lbs, and Combi Twinsport is 22lbs.  It is kind of a boat, and isn't nearly as easy to turn/push as the other two I mentioned.  I would hate to push that thing up a hill.

  • We just got the Baby Jogger City Select stroller and I love it!  We got the second seat attachment and the two car seat attachments and its so easy to use.  So much better than the DSNG.  Plus we often will put my older DD in a seat in the front, one twin in the car seat in the back and the other twin in a shopping cart since my older DD refuses to sit still in a cart.  It comes in very handy!!
