Last week I tried to call and schedule my annual. I'm due, and I'm trying to be a good doobie and get it done soon. Was told they don't have their January calendars out yet and to please call back today. So I call back today. STILL no calendars out yet and now I'm being told I should call back the last week of the month.
January is less than 2 weeks away. There are two major holidays between now and whatever day said appt would be on...and probably lots of vacation time in there for employees too. You've got to be kidding me that a doctors office wouldn't have their calendars functional for that yet. So frustrated I have to call back a THIRD time to schedule something that should take 2 seconds to stick on the docs schedule.
Sorry for the vent, just annoyed that its been this complictated to get an appointment.

Be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle.
Thats the exact experience I had at my last OB/GYN (we just moved across the country). On the plus side, if I can't make an appt then nobody else calling in can. I'd just like to get my pap over with before we get too far past when I know its due.
