Stocking Stuffers?

We got a stocking for our baby, and now I'm at a loss as to what to put in it. She has so many stuffed animals and rattles and such she has never used.

i bought her some new clothes but that's all i can think of. any ideas?

  • see, that's my problem. she has all this stuff -- got it at the shower -- teethers and toys and rattles and all of that. and she hasn't used it yet. i can't think of anything she needs. i just did a big buy of cloth diapers, but they are all in rotation. she has a surplus of toiletries, too. i'd get some baby plates and bowls, but I don't think they'd fit in the stocking.

If you cant think of anything she needs I don't really think you need to buy stuff for the stocking just to have stuff in it.  She's not going to know it's Christmas.  Just my opnion though...

What about little books with sound? You can never have enough of those!

  • well if she's got it all and you really want to put stuff in it...dont know if you've done it or heard about the stuffed animal that has the name a star foot print.  can't think of the company name - but they sell stuffed animals with instructions on how to name your star.  I did it for my boys.  Then you print out the certificate and the location of it in the sky and I put them in their baby books.  So, they have stars named after their nicknames.  just another idea.

Great idea! I personally got him stuff for when he is a little older. Not all of it will fit in his actualy stocking, but my mom always overflows ours and arranges the extras around the stocking itself. GL!

  • Books with sound? I will have to check those out! And maybe more of those "feely" books -- like with the fluff and such.

I will also have to check out the star animal. What a cute idea!

I am going to put her new wetbag in there, too -- terrible, I know. I also got some sucking pads for my ergo. I think that will probably do it.

My nephew loves those type of books.  The feeling books are a good idea as well.

  • I bought DS Sophie the Giraffe for his stocking and I will put a few little things that we already have in his stocking. DS doesn't know I had bought the little rattle and teethers a month or two ago and they're still put away so what does it matter?
