Anatomy scan today

The anatomy scan was great!
We saw the kidneys, spine, fingers & toes, heart and everything. They want me to come back in four weeks because I'm not as far along as they typically like this scan to be done. I asked my physician why they had me come in then and he thinks the other OBGYN who had me schedule the appointment looked at my old EDD instead of my adjusted EDD. Everything looked good and healthy and measured right where the baby should be. And I get another U/S in four weeks!

The biggest shock is that we're having a BOY! I have felt exactly like I did with DD and with DD putting it in our heads that she was having a sister...we were completely surprised. We still haven't told DD yet and won't until DH gets home later.
We are so very thankful for our healthy baby boy and cannot wait for him to join his sister.

    Congrats! I'm excited for you. You'll have to let us know what your daughter says when you tell her its a baby brother. I was totally expecting to hear boy today at my scan. When we heard girl I was shocked. Maybe we were just feeling each others intuition. That totally happens IRL Wink

    Maybe you're right! We were completely shocked. I think I'm going to record when we tell DD later today. That should be interesting...
