We have had the name Abeni picked out for a girl for a while. It is an African name meaning "we prayed for her, and now she is ours". It is pronounced Ab-uh-knee. Her nickname would be Abby. It has a lot of meaning to us so now that we know we might have two girls we have been looking for a name that has just as much meaning. We are thinking about Elianna. Pronounced el-ee-ah-nah. Nickname would be Ellie. It means "God has answered." We thought the meanings went together really well. Do you think the names do though? Abeni and Elianna? Abby and Ellie?
