Babies: 6 - 9 Months

Alright ladies, some help please...(working moms)

So I have a woman that does daycare out of her house that watches my son everyday when I go to work.  I am writing in her XMAS card tonite and am having such a difficult time putting into words how grateful I am.  For all of you working who have to leave your LO with someone everyday you know what I mean (I hope you have found someone great as well) it is SO hard to leave him 5 days a week with someone else.  So how do you begin to thank that person, thank you seems like it's just not enough.  Anyone have any good poems/quotes you can think of?  I'd like to add something to what I write for her

TIA

  • I don't know of any quotes, but what you just wrote isn't bad...just write something from the heart.  That's awesome she's so great!

I have no idea what to tell you besides you're on the wrong board.  Get over to 9-12, will ya?  ::Hugs::

LOL I am so out of the loop!!!  ::HUGS:: back at ya Mama <3

  • I also love, love, LOVE my inhome daycare gal.  I work FT but DS goes there PT.  She's sad he doesn't come more often ;)

Skip the poems and quotes.  They won't mean nearly as much as any words of your own.

Say exactly what you said to us --- one of the most difficult tasks you've faced as a new mom is leaving your child's care in the hands of another.  You are so grateful that the person you've chosen to do this with is wonderful, kind, caring, and special to not just your child but to you.  Thank her over and again for allowing you to breathe easy when you're away, knowing that your babe is getting fantastic care.

Poems and quotes are cheesy.  She'll love the thought you put into it with your own words.

I wrote many of my own words but I did end up putting a quote in it that I found, the quote was, ?Making the decision to have a child - It's momentous. It is to decide forever to have your heart go walking around outside your body.?  Then I told her there is no one I trust more looking over my heart all day...
