Hi all!
My awesome co-workers just purchased the LO a BOB Revolution AW stroller! I am beyond grateful for their generosity. I just have a question--to those who have one or who have had one--do you use this as your main stroller or do you have another one that you use in addition to the BOB?
For now, we live in a quiet neighborhood by a park with walking trails. My DH and I also used to run before I got pregnant so I'd love to get started up again after he's here and the doc gives me the ok.
We'll be moving to the DC area when the LO is about 4 months old. Is the BOB compact enough to fold up and take with me onto the metro or would you advise a 2nd stroller?
Thanks!

BOBs are great strollers, but if you are going to be taking a stroller on the metro, I'd get an umbrella stroller. If you get one that reclines, you'd be able to use it with a 4 month old. Here are a few examples:

The problem with getting an umbrella stroller just to take on the metro is how are you going to get to the metro? Drive or walk? If you are walking I would prefer the nice stroller to walk with and the hard fold on the train over the hard stroller to walk with that folds up neatly. Plus once you get where you are going you are going to have to walk.
I don't have a car so I walk, bike, bus or take the train everywhere. The umbrella stroller would be a joke for me. I am not a jogger although I looked at joggers to go over cobblestone with, but I ended up getting the Bugaboo Chameleon which also has a great suspension. I think your BOB is the way to go. If after a little while you decide you want an umbrella stroller get it then.

Thank you everyone for your responses! They have been really helpful. I'm not sure what area of DC we'll be living in yet (we'll probably fly out there around May to check it out before deciding). It looks like we'll have some time to decide though.
Thanks again!
