6 Week Old Weight

What was the weight of your child around 6 weeks? My EBF boy is getting so big and just wonder if it will slow down? I don't have an official weight from the doctor but I estimated about 12.5 pounds. Seems so big since he was 7 10 at birth. Thanks for your input.

My son will be 6 weeks on Friday and at his doctors appt yesterday he weighed 10lbs 4oz. They didnt say anything about his weight gain. He was born at 6lbs 14oz Oh and I formula feed

My LO is 6 weeks and around 12 lbs. He was slow to gain at first, but the last three weeks he's been avaraging over a puond a week. I hope he slows down too; he's growing out of things so fast!

My LO weighed 6lbs 8oz at birth and at 2 months she only weighs 10 pounds. She is tiny.

I am in the little peanut club too. Birth weight 5lbs 11oz and at 9 weeks was 9lbs 8oz. So I don't know what the norm is.

She was 7lbs. 15oz. at birth and around 8.5lbs or so at 6 weeks (she did drop down to 7lbs for a bit though and has been gaining slowly from there)

Thanks everyone! It is reassuring to know he is not the only big guy at this age. I just worry he is overeating since bf doesn't allow me to know how much he eats.

My LO was 7.11 at birth and at six weeks is exactly 12.5lbs too. I feel the same way- crazy how fast they grow
