Just a friendly reminder that starting in 2011 you will have to have a prescription to buy OTC on your flexible spending account credit card. So, if you need to stock up on infants tylenol, motrin, benadryl, saline nose drops, etc... (and you still have money left in your account) nows the time!
Have a great day!

Re: PSA - Those of you with flexible spending accounts...
thanks, I don't want to hijack this post but how many of you had their OB's ask for the money up front?
This happened to me where I basically have to pay $500 this year and it screws me for my flex spending. I hope hope hope I use all my flex spending in my account for hospital costs, etc.
We called the Flex account company and simply asked. She said it was covered and we used it to pay for it with no problems!
And we are paying everything at the end, which will be February of course, so we got an estimate on what it was going to cost from the insurance company and DH claimed that much to be put on the account for next year so we're all set!
I just waited and claimed it the next year since the service will technically be next year. The year I had dd, I maxed out my flex and had no issue spending it all by the end of the year. Between my hospital bill, many trips to the pedi and rx for ear infections, we blew through it. Its amazing how quickly copays add up!
