Anything Stevie Wonder reminds me of long car trips driving down to Tennessee for vacation. Sleeping in the back of the conversion van. Good times, good times

  • 1. Of middle school: On Bended Knee by Boyz II Men. I was such a huge fan of theirs.

    2. Of the first time I met DH: The First Five Times by Stars.

    3. My child: Just the Way You Are by Bruno Mars. It's "her song". It comes on every time we put her in the car. I mean, I know it comes on like, every 15 minutes, but still. ;)

    4. I literally can't think of a song that reminds me of my parents. :/

    5. My Favourite Book by Stars. It also reminds me of DH, in a way that makes me feel like it could have been written about us. It makes me cry (happy tears) every time I hear it.

  • 1. Of middle school: Hero by Mariah Carey - it was one of the top songs when I was in middle school and I actually got to sing the first verse as a solo in show choir in middle school too2. The first time you met your partner?: "U" by Socialburn - it was a band he introduced me to when we first met and the lyrics described how I felt about him really well 3.Your child(ren)? • 1. Of middle school The Right Stuff by NKOTB.

    2. The first time you met your partner? Not really the first time I met him, but whenever I think of the early weeks with DH, I think of Aquemini by OutKast.  He loved that song and played it constantly.

Mom:  Daydream Believer by The Monkees,  anything of of "Sports" by Huey Lewis.  Dad:  Howlin' at the Moon by Hank Williams,  Born in the USA by The Boss,  The Christmas Song by Mel Torme (whenever Dad sings it,  somehow "Chestnuts" becomes "Chet's Nuts" and Dad fake screams in agony.)

    5. Special snowflake. Tell about a song special to you for whatever reason.  Ironic by Alanis Morrisette reminds me of my first year of college, driving down the streets of my hometown with a car full of friends screaming the lyrics at the tops of our lungs.

Lol i love them. That song reminds me of going to Six Flags with the family when i was in elementary. My dad, uncle, cousin and I did one of those music videos things to it. The only dance I knew was the backwards running man LOL

  • 1. Of middle school--Wonderwall by Oasis. This dumb biotch in my class wrote "there are many things that I would like to say to you" all over the inside of her brand new textbook.  I'm sure they're still being used and I'm sure the 7th graders have no clue what it means.2. The first time you met your partner? Anything by Me First and the Gimme Gimmes. He was really into them. I think it all sounds exactly the same.3.Your child(ren)? "The Funeral" by Band of Horses--listening to it the morning I got my BFP. "Oh No" by Andrew Bird--listened to it in labor. They both make me cry now.4.Your parents? It's random, but "Don't Fear the Reaper." It reminds me of listening to classic rock in the big green truck as a kid.5. Special snowflake. "New Slang" by The Shins. For many reasons.
