How do I remove smell in new dresser?

HI There - Anyone have ideas on how to remove that new furniture smell from a dresser?  Would dryer sheets work?  I don't want to put any baby clothes in it until I can make it smell better.

    Dryer sheets will just mask the smell.  Which is fine until the smell of the dryer sheets dissipates and you're left with that new furniture smell again.

    Get one of these or open all the drawers and let it sit empty for at least a couple of weeks.

    I bought a new wardrobe and then wiped it down with hot water and murphy's oil soap and then put some dryer sheets in it. The new smell was gone pretty quick.
