My LO *hates* his carseat. Consequently he cries in the car about 25% of the time. Which breaks my heart. Sometimes I'm in tears too by the time we get to our destiation. It is torture for both of us. Anyone else going thru anything similar? Anyone got any advice?
Re: carseat torture
maybe put him in his carseat when you're at the house, to get him used to it slowly, in a place he feels safe in (home) ... ? then hopefully he'll gradually change how he feels about riding in it in the car.
Could you put some kind of toys in his carseat to distract him? I have these hanging on DD's carseat and when I drive, it makes them sway and jingle and she absolutely loves it. When she's fussy in her carseat I'll just shake them and she starts laughing.

Be happy it's only 25% of the time. Abigail cries the entire time, every time. My mom is 20 minutes away and her specialists are 35 minutes away. I dread going to either place. I've tried everything...
