DH better have a fever....(long vent)

Yesterday, DH was sick with aches and a fever. I tried to keep him quarantined in our bedroom so that he wouldn't pass on any germs to Cam. Doing all toddler stuff plus constantly chasing DH back to our room (he was "bored" even though there is a TV in the back.) wore me out.

Last night it was my turn to feel horrible w/ an unexpected stomach virus. I was up several times vomiting and even took a bath around midnight to try and warm up. I slept in the guest room b/c I didn't want to be exposed to DH so I doubt he has any idea that I was up so much.

Fast forward to this morning.....Cam was up at 6:30. I got up w/ him but all I want to do is sit in the recliner, sip ginger ale and not move. DH is STILL in bed...it is almost 10:00. If that @sshole still doesn't have a fever (ie. reason to be in bed) then I am going to be PISSED.

    Why the heck haven't you gone up there and dragged his @$$ out of bed!? Stomach bug trumps fever ANY day! And besides, you are both contagious.

    Wow do I feel your pain. I'm 8 months pregnant, I've had flu-like symptoms for the past two days and DH was in bed today until 1:00! Then he has the nerve to get mad at me for not wanting to decorate the tree with him at 8:30 tonight!
