fighting sleep

She is fighting sleep tonight.  I am sure it's because she's overtired, as she only got a total of 2 hours of napping in today.  I will tell you, if this was 8 wks from now, we'd be doing some sort of sleep training right now.  Flame away Cool

    Wesley has been fighting sleep the past few nights which I know is due to his lack of taking his naps during the day.  Little stinker.

    no, i get flamed.  But seriously what is with them not wanting to sleep.  Oh and the stupid seahorse does not emit any freakin' magic.  I guess I need to learn some magic on my own.   I really can't wait until we can sleep train because you bet your butt I will get this darling beautiful little girl napping and sleeping.

    True story.  I'm pissed I bought it because I expected it to work wonders.  Same with the swing.  Too bad Ryan could care less about both.  And he is also fighting sleep tonight.  Should be a fun night!! ;)

    I had to LOL about the sea horse.  Wesley looks at it like "Yeah...that's cool and all, but I'm still not sleeping."  If he keeps this up, we're in the sleep training boat as well.  I've been reading the book Healthy Sleep Habits, Happy Baby, and I'm counting on the days until he is 4 months.  lol

    the man is a genious!!!  I followed his word like it was the bible and within a week, Olivia was the most amazing baby.  She was already STTN, but started going to bed even earler and napping like a champ.  He's my guy!

    Wife-- we've had to develop a weird system, E has been fighting sleep since day one.  She loves white noise and the Gentle Giraffe by Cloud B has been a life saver.  Also the F/P rainforest soother. She loves the lights and will fall asleep staring at it. GL!

    But for Gawd's sake, do not let your baby cry. Ever.

    N is mad at her seahorse.

    she went to sleep at midnight last night. woke up at 3 to eat, at 630 for good. She slept from 730 til 830 and didnt take a nap til four and that only lasted for 1 1/2 hours. She is still awake and fighting sleep. I am going to rip out my hair.

The noise machine hasn't even done the trick (it usually does) and baths just make her more alert. I put the Rockabye Baby station on Pandora on my cell and play it all night and I would like to believe that that works. (But I think she finally just passes out bc she is exhausted from being so fussy!)

    True story - all of it...fighting sleep, unmagical sea horse, and sleep training (in due time)...let's see how long we last tonight...

    It's awesome bc not only do they play all of the Rockabye Baby songs from the cds, but they also play guitar lullabyes and lullabye 'covers' by awesome modern bands and singers. That stuff puts ME to sleep! :)
