They now cover breast pumps!!! WooHOO. With DD they did not and we ended up using my SIL which unfortunatly broke shortly before I stoped BFing. SO now we can get a nice one.
How do you go about getting it? Do you buy it and they reimburse? Do you have to ask beforehand or what?
Well the only reason I found out was my OB office told me, they said I can either buy the breast pump through my OB's office and just let them deal with all the paperwork or I can buy it elsewhere and send in my proof of purchase and they cut me a check, personally I am going to get mine through the OB's office, theirs are the medela hospital grade ones and I HATE dealing with extra paperwork. the only stipualtion is you cannot purchase it until the baby is born, so my OB's office said that hubby can go pick it up the day I deliver.

Great, thank you. I'll have to check. My son was born at 36 weeks and I had a cheapy pump because I planned to BF but had to pump for a while in the beginning. I'm hoping next time i'll know more about what's available to me. Thanks for letting me know what you learned.
