I think what we're going to do is put Eliza in Marion's Marathon and get Marion a new car seat when Eliza outgrows the infant seat. Is the Radian smaller than the Marathon width wise? And does it for sure take up more room RF than the Marathon, because that thing is a beast RFing.
Re: Another Radian vs Britax question
The radian is absolutely the narrowest seat width wise. You can fit 3 radians across in a Corolla, they are that narrow.
I'm pretty sure that it takes up more room front to back than a Marathon though. In my PT Cruiser, I tried out the Marathon and it didn't take any more room than my Graco Snugride. I could not get my radian RFing in the cruiser though (but I have read since then that people have done it, so maybe it was just me, I've never tried it again).
The Radian is definitely longer RF, but because it is so narrow, it fits nicely in the middle of my backseat without interfering with the positions of the front seats. I only have one child, but I definitely think you could do one in the middle and one on the side, although there would be pros and cons to that...
That's the way we have it now - Britax RF in the middle. Graco RF behind the passenger seat. I think maybe we could do the Radian RF in the middle and the Marathon RF behind passenger if we need to move Eliza up before we're ready yo turn Marion FF
